Marienbad is the second largest Czech spa town, which is very rich in mineral springs.
Right in the area there are 40 of them and in the vicinity of almost 100. The area of today's spa belonged to the Premonstratensian monastery in Teplá, whose abbot K.K. Reitenberger pushed the behest of the monastery doctor J.J.Nehr early 19th century construction of the first spa. According to the grandiose project architect V.Skalníka were performed landscaping and parks, which are now the numerous springs, the most characteristic feature of the city. In 1866 Marienbad was declared a city and the beginning of the 20th century ranked among the most important European centers.
Main Colonnade Colonnade or even Maxim Gorky inherently belongs to the symbols of Marianske Lazne. Colonnade is a historical monument of Czech spas. There is also a singing fountain, which plays daily from 7.00 to 19.00 every odd hour, at 21.00 and 22.00 hours including design with colored lighting.

Kynžvart state chateau - originally a baroque mansion was commissioned during 1821-1836 Austrian Chancellor Metternich rebuild at the Empire castle. Designed by architect of Italian origin Pietro Nobile. The castle has one of the most valuable libraries in the country.
Royal Golf Club Marianske Lazne - the Golf Club Marianske Lazne is an example of Scottish and Irish courses of their time. 18-hole course lies at the foot of the Slavkov Forest, 787 meters above sea level, mainly in the flat part.
